Shortly after, he was recalled to The Flying Tiger’s, he was able to check out as a Captain on the Constellation. He upgraded to the CL 44. This upgrade required a move to New Jersey for one year. Next came the DC 8, and he retired as a Boeing 747 Captain.
William’s passions included skiing, sailing, model airplanes, and all other things pertaining to flying. William was an active and dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had the opportunity to serve in many positions within the Church and loved his four years serving as a Bishop in the Lake Tahoe Ward.
