In Memoriam

December 7, 1948 - January 24, 2016

Some of you will remember Bill from the training
department at FTL.  Bill was checked out as MD-11 Captain by FedEx. During a simulator period in
2004 it was discovered Bill was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. Lewy Body Dementia is the
second most common type of progressive dementia after Alzheimers. Bill went on disability leave at that
time and unfortunately never recovered to come back.
