As of October 15th there were only 5 more rooms available on Wed and Thurs night at our group rate.  We're trying to get more added.  Email Us if you experience any problems in making your reservations and we'll be able to give you information on an overflow hotel in the area.

Located within minutes of the Palm Springs Airport, the downtown strip, great restaurants, shopping, and the aerial tramway, the Renaissance Palm Springs is going to provide us the perfect venue for our 44th Annual Reunion.  The hotel boasts having the largest pool in Palm Springs and a first class Spa for those who want to just relax and enjoy all that this wonderful hotel has to provide.  The hotel provides free airport shuttle service on demand.  Parking is $12 per night. Who's Coming?

Registration Procedures

Once you've made your lodging arrangements send in your Registration Form by December 31st in order to be eligible for our traditional drawing.  Two winners will receive either (2) two free hotel nights at the Renaissance or (2) two free banquet meals of their choice.          Download Registration Form

Reunion Activities

Palm Springs has a rich history with an abundance of great restaurants, recreational opportunities, shopping, sightseeing and other attractions .   A good source of information for activities outside of our planned event can be found by visiting   Activities planned exclusively for our association are listed below.

Friday, May 4th
Palm Springs Air Museum
4pm to 10pm
$65 per person, includes transportation, museum tickets, and buffet dinner..

Costume Theme: Armed Forces, MASH, Military attire

In harmony with the themes involved with this year's reunion, recognizing our former flight attendants and their efforts during the multiple Freedom Bird flights that they operated, everyone is encouraged to dress in Armed Forces attire of some type.

Friday, May 4th
Flabob Express DC3 Flight Opportunity
$100 per person, includes museum access, champagne, and some stick time if possible.

Fly back through time with Bob & Tym Tymczyszyn at the controls of a beautiful 1945 DC-3, the “Flabob Express”.  Relax and re-live the Golden Days with a scenic tour of the desert landscape, a glass of champagne in hand served by one of our former Flying Tiger Flight Attendants.  Those interested can come up front and log some DC-3 time!  Flights will be conducted out of the Palm Springs Air Museum ramp on Friday, just prior to the Friday evening gathering. The first 15 passengers to sign up will depart at 3pm for a flight of approximately one hour. Others will depart at earlier times with a schedule due out soon.

Entertainment will be provided by Delene St. Clair and her band, Hot Pursuit.  They last played for us in 2012 during our San Diego Reunion.

Beginning in 2003, during our first reunion in New Orleans, we have made a tradition of recognizing our flight attendants  every five years for their contribution to our former airline.   The former stewards, stewardesses, and flight attendants are valuable members of FTLPA, comprising  the second largest group of members within our association. (Above- F/A's hired in the 80's celebrate during our last Recognition Banquet held in San Diego, 2013)
