In Memoriam

March 14, 1929 - March 6, 2009

Margaret J. Hough, 79, passed away March 6, 2009 in Rancho Mirage, CA. She was born March 14, 1929 to Catherine and Dwight Hough in Warren, Ohio. "Marge" was a nurse before becoming a flight attendant for Flying Tiger Airlines. She later became Director of Passenger Service, continuing in the same position when FedEx took over Flying Tigers. She retired in 1994. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all Flying Tiger personnel who knew her, but especially "her" flight attendants. Marge resided in Palm Desert Greens Country Club in Palm Desert, CA, and Long Beach, CA, where she loved to play cards and golf. She is survived by sister, Mary Lou Clark and her husband, Bob Clark of Palm Desert, CA. She was "Aunt Sis" to five nieces, five nephews, three step-nieces and many great-nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her longtime friend and companion, Betty Carver. Marge was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kay Rubino; and brother, Bill Hough. Chapel services were held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Forest Lawn, 69855 East Ramon Road, Cathedral City, CA. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Desert Cancer Foundation, 74091 Larrea St., Palm Desert, CA 92260, or your favorite charity.
