2026 Reunion & Cruise

Registration is now open!

Our 2026 Reunion will be held from May 4-9, 2026 in Honolulu, Hawaii at the Prince Waikiki Hotel located on the north end of Waikiki Beach near the Ala Moana Center.  Each hotel room has a view of the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean and our Hospitality Suite has a stunning view of the Ala Wai Marina.

An optional 7-night inter-island cruise aboard Norwegian Cruise Line's Pride of America, departing on May 9, is also be planned for those able to stay and enjoy another week in the islands with their fellow Tigers.  In lieu of the cruise, those who still wish to stick around on the islands a little longer can take advantage of reduced rate stays at a resort on the Big Island - Hawaii.

The last time we had a reunion in Hawaii was in 1986 when FTLPA members gathered in Kona.  The enthusiasm to revisit the islands has been exceptional. Click on the following link below to see who plans to attend this year.    Who's Coming?

Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum at Ford Island

$85 per person

The reunion highlight will be visiting the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum on Ford Island where the original ATC Tower (shown behind aircraft) and WW II Hangar 79 are also located.  This is the home of the Robert W. Prescott, a P40  Warhawk similar to those flown by the AVG and rebuilt in honor of FTL's founder following his death in 1978. The aircraft is currently owned by Federal Express and is on loan to the museum.

John Hazlet (in #67 at right) flew the rebuilt P40 and continues to remain responsible for periodic maintenance.  He has graciously volunteered to speak to our group in the museum's theater during two separate periods before and after our buffet lunch.

Your registration fee for this tour will include transportation, admission to the Pearl Harbor Museum and a buffet lunch.  Click HERE for a list of buffet menu items.  Optional tickets to view the original ATC Tower located at the museum will be available to our group for $16.25 per person on a first-come basis due to tower capacity for the 30-minute tour.

Buses will begin departing the Prince Hotel at 9am and will also be scheduled for stops to and from Ford Island to allow our group the opportunity to also visit the USS Missouri and/or the Arizona Memorial.

Famed Battleship Row

The USS Missouri, nicknamed the Mighty Mo, is an Iowa-class battleship that fought in WWII, Korea, Desert Storm, and on whose decks the peace treaty between the US and Japan was signed.  Buses will be shuttling back and forth to the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum all day for your flexibility and convenience.

Buses will also stop at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial when entering and exiting Ford Island to and from the hotel.  This special memorial, which honors the lives affected by the December 7, 1941, attack, is free.

Important Note
The extra fees to visit the ATC Tower ($16.25), the USS Missouri ($39.99), and the Arizona Memorial ($1) are not included with your registration.  These optional tours must be paid separately by those wishing to enhance their visit to Ford Island and Pearl Harbor.  More details on how to prepay for these will be provided to those attending as the event nears.

Dinner and Dance

$140 per person

Our dinner and dance on Thursday night will be held in the Pi'inaio Ballroom and will follow the traditional format of previous years.  Cocktails will be available in the foyer at 6pm, buffet will begin at 7pm, and entertainment will begin at 8pm.  Suggested dress is Tropical Attire  - no T-shirts or Flip-Flops!   Buffet Items

Our entertainment for the night will be provided by the Island Kings Band.

Additional Opportunities

We believe that this will not only be a great reunion destination, but for many it could be a vacation of a lifetime.  For that reason, we negotiated group-rate discounts to enhance the reunion with some additional add-on options below.

Interisland Cruise
May 9-16, 2026

We were able to secure rooms on the very popular Pride of America operated by Norwegian Cruise Line for an interisland 7-night cruise around the islands. The ship departs from Pier 2, which is about a quarter mile south of the Aloha Tower marketplace.

The fare for our group has been reduced to $5,785 for two persons, an excellent rate for 8 days at sea!

NOTICE - In October 2025 we were made aware that the State of Hawaii is imposing an additional tax for cruises that transit their ports which will be added to the quoted fare above.  We're working to obtain more information about this tax.

A total of 74 reunion attendees have already booked 38 cabins for this exciting opportunity. You have until Jan 8, 2026 to sign up and pay up for the cruise.  It's been approved to pay in installments, if you choose to do so. To sign up contact:
