Henry P. “Hank” Germain

In Memoriam

June 3, 1928 - May 7, 2020

Hank passed away in Thousand Oaks at the age of 91.   Hired in 1957 as a Flight Engineer, he later successfully upgraded to the front seat, made Captain in 1976 (photo at left) and retired as a B747 Captain on his 60th birthday in 1988.

Hank leaves behind his beloved wife, Clara, and three children, Paul, Steve, and Kathy.  Both sons are employed by FedEx, Paul in the Maintenance Department and Steve in GOC as an international Flight Dispatcher.

Hank last attended the Long Beach 2019 reunion (see with Steve Germain and Leigh-lu Prasse at right).  He was looking forward to attending the 2020 event in San Antonio on May 6th, but it was unfortunately cancelled.

Condolences can be sent to the Germain family at 14 Van Dyke St., Thousand Oaks, CA 91360.  Paul and Steve Germain are shown below.
