In Memoriam

February 2, 1941 - January 26, 2020

Dave Buckner was hired by FTL on March 1, 1966 and continued flying for FedEx after the merger in 1989.

The following is from his daughter, Robin:

Thank you for honouring David. We were so proud of David’s accomplishments specially with Flying Tigers.  He leaves behind his wife Barbara Watson, 3 Stepdaughters and 4 grandchildren whom he loved very much.
Picture number one is David with his wife and granddaughter on the day of her granddaughter’s flight attendant graduation day. Picture number two is David and his granddaughter as he proudly pins her wings on her. Picture number three and four is David flying in his own plane.

David passed peacefully on Sunday the 26th of January at 10:12 PM at age 78.
We all loved him very much.
