Brian Hyde

In Memoriam...

Hello,

Brian was sitting DC-10 Captain reserve the day he died outside MEM. A friend of his who also flew for Federal Express took him flying in a WWI training aircraft. They were doing aerobatics and crashed but Brian's friend survived. If you would like to update your cause of death of Brian to A/C Accident.

I don't have any pictures of Brian but I do know he was a F/E Sim Instructor for Tigers for many years.

He was a good man and a good father.

Thank you,

James Nichols

==========================

Hello,

I worked for Flying Tigers from 1978-1984 in flight ops engineering. I was a good friend of Brian Hyde and I would like to add some information about Brian who passed away on October 15, 1998.

Brian was a passenger in a vintage WWII Ryan PT-22 aircraft when it crashed in Tennessee.

Attached is a picture of Brian that was published with his obituary in the Austin American-Statesman on October 18, 1998.

Best regards,

Bob Hyatt (aka “Kevin Hyatt”)
