After a 2-year hiatus, our 48th Anniversary Reunion was held in San Antonio at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel from May 2nd to May 5th. Attended by close to 250 members and their guests, the weather was perfect and everyone agreed that this was one of the better events that we have had.
Side events included the showing of the movie Airport on the first night, a golf tournament organized by Winston Churchill, a Flight Attendant dinner organized by Annette Lusk, a group visit to San Antonio, The Saga, a Life Member (Tiger Lily) brunch organized by Karen Lane, the first-ever Tiger Poker Run Pub Crawl, a 210-passenger Tiger Flotilla to the Pearl, the traditional business meeting, some line dance instruction, and finally the main event, the Western Buffet and Dance on Thursday night. Wings & Wheels Fly-in
A handful of us left San Antonio Saturday morning and made it by the Wings & Wheels Fly-In at the Kingsbury Airport (about 50 miles northeast), where Steve Freeman was our host and gave us an excellent tour of the field and the museum.
